The 11 Components of Heras Steelhoard
Steelhoard has been designed to be very flexible using a minimal number of components. This allows virtually any site situation to be accommodated without the need for fabricating bespoke panels or equipment.
Steelhoard in ground, on ground with steel or flat plastic sheets ensures that Steelhoard is the most flexible system available on the market today.
All the components and sections are made from heavy duty
Galvanised Steel to ensure maximum lifespan.
1.Steel Spigot Tube
Size 1200x2mmx95mm O.D.
Material CRS galvanised
Purpose; Ground socket to insert post into and support hoarding. The 600mm that extends out of the ground offers additional strength to the Bottom section of the post to increase stability in strong winds to ensure the system conforms to TWf1202-02.
2.Posts
Size: 28700x2x88.9mm O.D.
Material: Galvanised Steel
Purpose: Heavy duty post to fix the hoarding structure to. 2.800m long to allow for undulating ground and stepping panels.
3.Channel to Post couplers
Size: 156x166xx103mm
Material: Galvanised Steel
Purpose: To allow horizontal channel rails to be attached to the 2.8m long posts. All fittings are fitted with lock bolts that can be tightened using a 21mm scaffold type spanner.
4.Channels
Size; Bottom 5000x55x44x4mm
Top 70x44x3mm
Material: Galvanised Steel
Purpose: Forming a rail that captivates the Steelhoard insert sheets, without the need for screwing, bolting or riveting.
5.Insert sheets Steel
Size; 2440x1200x. 75mm to .9mm
Material: Galvanised Steel box profile section polyester coated
Purpose: Sits between the top and bottom channels to create a solid barrier. Can be re powder coated to any colour.
6.Insert sheets Plastic
Size; 2440x500x30mm deep
Material: Recycled PVC
Purpose: Sits between the top and bottom channels to create a solid barrier. Can be manufactured to a limited colour but bare designed to create a flat surface that can be screen printed onto directly or covered self adhesive printed vinyl.
7.Joint Channels
Size;48x60x2mm
Material:Galvanised steel
Purpose: To offer additional support where the top channels meet and fix into the channel post coupler
8.VC1 Vertical End Channels
Size;2440x80x30x2mm
Material: Galvanised Steel
Purpose: Sits in between MF1 and MF2 or RC1 and RC2 couplers to form a heavy duty cover strip at the end of Steelhoard runs.
9.MF1 and MF2 External Corner Coupler
Size: 156x166xx103mm
Material: Galvanised Steel
Purpose: An adjustable bracket that the top and bottom channels fix into allowing 90 to 180 degree external corners to be formed. The couplers are also used at the end of hoarding elevations to fix the VC1 vertical channels into.
10.RC1 and RC2 Internal Corner Coupler
Size: 156x166xx103mm
Material: Galvanised Steel
Purpose: An adjustable bracket that the top and bottom channels fix into allowing 90 to 180 degree internal corners to be formed. The couplers are also used at the end of hoarding elevations to fix the VC1 vertical channels into.
11.Joint Channels
