What is fencing?
Fencing is a collective word for permanent, semi-permanent, and temporary fencing. Fencing is used for a variety of purposes: it can be used at and around building sites, for safety and security, bicycle storage space, to store leaves and trimmings waste, and to guide people to the right place at events. For example, festivals, concerts, or sports events. There are even more fencing options. It can be used to protect trees, securely store equipment, as an emergency service entrance, and to safeguard a stage for both the public and artists. Fencing can be used for different purposes, but can also differ in functionality. For example, there is fencing with fire-resistant tarpaulins, fencing with sound dampening tarpaulins, and fencing with tarpaulins to protect against snoopers and unauthorised intruders. Most fencing is primarily made of aluminium and/or galvanised steel.

What are mobile fences?
Mobile fences are used around building sites. This might be a remote building site or building site in the city. Of course, mobile fences also can be used at a new housing estate. Mobile fences are used for a variety of reasons, including creating a clear separation line, keeping unauthorised people out, making recognisable routes, and ensuring that employees can carry out their work properly. What are crowd control barriers?

What is temporary fencing?

In other words, it is better to rent fencing when you will need it for less than two and a half years. There are a few advantages to renting temporary fencing, such as no large investment, storage and handling costs, and you only pay for what you actually use.

What is a sliding gate?
A sliding gate is a fence that can be rolled to one side. Sliding gates provide a practical, safe, secure, and recognisable entryway to terrains. A sliding gate is a flexible fence that has wheels at the bottom. A sliding gate does not have a turning circle, so it is easy to open and close. It only takes a jiffy to create a sliding gate to provide an entrance for suppliers, crossing place during a running competition, or an emergency exit during disasters. A sliding gate always fits in, opens quickly, and provides complete access.

What is a galvanised fence?
A galvanised fence is a standard fence provided with a thin layer of zinc. The entire fence is thermally galvanised in a zinc bath. Zinc is corrosion resistant. It provides maximum protection against rust. In addition, it gives a fence a sleeker appearance and also increases its service life. Galvanised fences are very suitable for the materials department or for rental. The fence is thermally galvanised and thus practically indestructible.

What is semi-permanent fencing?
Semi-permanent fencing is secured in the ground with poles. Thereafter, four strong mobile fence clamps secure the mobile fences to the poles. If you have a long-term construction project, you can choose between temporary fencing or semi-permanent fencing. Your choice depends on a number of factors, such as: Do you need multiple (temporary) entrances at the building site?, Is there a risk of damage due to heavy vehicles?, Is the goal solely to create an enclosure or is security also a concern?

What is an anti-climb fence?
The name says it all… no climbing. The dimensions of an anti-climb mobile fence are 3,500 x 2,000 mm. The mesh width of an anti-climb fence is 35 x 150 mm. The weight of an anti-climb fence is 24 kg. The fence is the strongest and heaviest available. Heras Mobile anti-climb fences have a very fine mesh that covers the entire height of the fence. What is a mesh width?
The mesh width is the distance between two wires. Fencing consists of horizontal and vertical steel wires with different mesh widths, which are fastened to the surrounding tubes. The fence strength depends on, among other things, the mesh width. The closer the wires are to each other, the stronger the fence.

What is a Noise Control barrier?

What is a Fence Lifting Tool?
The Heras Fence Lifting Tool is a bracket with a wooden handle to easily lift and (re)place temporary fences. The shape of the bracket allows one installer to lift the fence. By clamping the Fence Lifting Tool in the middle of the temporary fence, the weight of the fence is evenly distributed. This ensures a comfortable grip and posture, significantly reducing back and shoulder complaints.
