We use the one-metre fences from Heras to enclose the site, yet are still able to see all of the work.

The low fences are easy to install, stable, and manageable. They are ideal for keeping people away.

- Tim Vercauteren
from ATF NV

ATF is a terrific and modern well-known infrastructure company located in North Antwerp (BE). Tim Vercauteren is the head of the technical department. We asked him about the use of the low Heras fences in his projects.

We installed these fences at our industrial and private client sites. These may be used for new construction, repairs, and renovations.  We prefer to use the fences and often do so because these are easier to install (no struts are needed and they are lighter in weight). And we always do everything in consultation with the customer.  We use these fences to close off an area, yet are still able to see all of the work.

The one-metre tall fences can be installed in blocks as well with steel baseplates. The latter solution minimises the risk of stumbling. The baseplates can be anchored to the ground for extra stability.

At ATF, a Manitou forklift at the factories often drives over the blocks. The advantage of flat baseplates is that these do not break when driven over.
Our experience with our collaboration with Heras is always positive. Communication is always quick and proper. Delivery times are usually great.
We also like to use customised fences because ‘everyone’ uses these types of fences.

ATF attaches customer-specific name signs on the fences. This is an opportunity for every type of mobile fence. This increases your firm’s name recognition. It’s a form of advertising not to be missed.
